Artwork
Please provide artwork for poster printing as high resolution Print PDFs or high resolution JPEGs where possible. If you need to supply your files in another format that should be fine but please enquire first.
Posters can be supplied in RGB or CMYK. It is best practice to take photos in RAW format, if your camera supports this feature, and to save images in lossless or uncompressed file formats (PSDs and TIFFs) where possible and in Adobe RGB. Saving files as JPEGs decreases image quality substantially.
Large Format Printing
Please be aware that images need to be captured at a good enough resolution for large prints to be detailed. The lower the resolution, the lower the image quality of the large format print.
As a general rule of thumb all images for prints should be 300dpi – however this is often unrealistic in real life as many people do not have large or medium format cameras. Depending on where the print will be placed and how close the viewer will be viewing, lower resolution digital prints can be quite acceptable.
